All of our clients have a primary mental health diagnosis and many have secondary diagnosis of physical health, autism or learning difficulties. Our residents vary in age from twenties right through to end of life. We are also registered to accommodate the elderly including dementia
Casa Mia is a spacious home set in large gardens. The home is designed and decorated to an exceptionally high standard and the garden offers a courtyard, vegetable garden and green house, chicken and pet enclosures, an aviary, workshop and a roofed outdoor entertainment space. (African themed Hut)
Casa Mia is located in the quiet Worcestershire village of Far Forest, on the outskirts of Bewdley on the A4117, on the edge of the picturesque Wyre Forest. The village offers a well stocked general store and post office and a restaurant. The bus stops outside Casa Mia running to Kidderminster, Bewdley, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow. Several residents use the bus independently, support is also offered to use the bus when needed.
Casa Mia has 36 bedrooms. All are en suite, most have showers but bathrooms are also provided for people wishing to enjoy a bath. Many rooms have self contained kitchen areas for more independent living.
Our staff team of 40 include our Management Team, Team Leaders, Care Team, Maintenance Team, Housekeeping Team, Receptionist and Chef Team. We have a Therapy Team including a Senior Occupational Therapist, Activity Coordinator, Therapy Assistant alongside Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Students from the Universities of Worcester and Coventry.
